Thanksgiving Blessing Pans are needed

In His Name-Colleton, a local ministry to the community, is sponsoring their 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Blessing Pan outreach. It’s a great way to help others this Thanksgiving and the entire family can get in on the fun.

Here is how it works.

Buy a foil pan.

Purchase all of the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal for families of two to six. Include: frozen turkey, canned vegetables, sweet potatoes, instant mashed potatoes, white rice, stuffing mix, canned gravy, canned chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, mac & cheese, fruit, pie crust and filling or cake mix and frosting, sugar, salt & pepper, koolaid or tea bags.

Put the ingredients in the pan and deliver to In His Name by Friday, November 19.

OR, you can donate $50 and individuals will shop for you.

You can even donate at Venmo: @inhisname-colleton, or PayPal.Me/inhisnamecolleton.

Last year the ministry was able to assist 37 families with a frozen turkey and all the fixings for families to cook for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.

“If you are need of a pan or know of a family in need, please send us the information (name, contact info., and number of people to feed) as soon as possible. Pans will be ready for pick up on November 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.,” said Amanda Herndon, director. “We know that with your support, this year’s Blessing Pan outreach will be better than ever!”
