Colleton County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the shooting death of a juvenile male who was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning Nov 13. The victim, Keiontay Johnson, 17, was dropped off at the Colleton Medical Center by an unknown person(s) and later died from his injuries.
Two more drive-by shootings occurred after this incident: one on Keegan Road and one on Hope Plantation Road, where a male sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Colleton detectives are working to determine if these shootings are connected. Additional information is limited at this time due to an ongoing investigation.

A fourth shooting was reported Nov. 14 at 7:45 p.m. on North Lemacks Street. The victim was transported by private vehicle to Colleton Medical Center.
The Walterboro Police Department is investigating the incident.
