In 1994, Susan Smith was convicted of murdering her two, young sons, three-year-old Michael and 14-month-old Alexander, by drowning them in a South Carolina Lake. Susan Smith was convicted of two counts of murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years. She has been incarcerated at Leath Correctional Institution. Smith will be eligible for parole November 4, 2024.
