The 2022 Turtle Tide Art Project Sponsorship for Charity is beginning in May. The project includes 10 large 3-by-5-foot turtles that will be painted by a local artist. Each of the 10 turtles will be sponsored by an area business and put on display at Edisto Beach businesses and organizations from May through October, which is the sea turtle nesting season on Edisto Beach.
After turtle season, there will be a Turtle Auction with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the charity/beneficiary of choice for each business or organization. Donations can also be made at each location.
