A Colleton County woman was shot twice on Saturday. Firefighter-paramedics and law enforcement officers were called to a residence on Sniders Highway at about 2:13 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, where they found a woman had been shot twice. The woman sustained a shotgun wound to her lower back and to her leg. She was treated at the scene and then transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, according to Barry McRoy, chief of Colleton County Fire-Rescue. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this shooting incident.
