Sheriff recognizes employees for hard work

Several employees with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office have been named Employee of the Quarter for September. The sheriff’s office created the Employee of the Quarter program to honor and recognize outstanding employees.

The September employees who are being awarded are Sgt. Daniel Greene, Road Patrol; Sgt. Wendell Butterfield, Investigations; Captain Jason Chapman, Administration; Sgt. Shajobia Brown, Detention; Sgt. Rebecca Mitchell, Telecommunications; Deputy Marvin Jones, Warrants/Civil Process Division; Deputy Rickey Breland, Court Security; and Sgt. Shannon Thomason, School Resource Officer.  

“The CCSOs Employee of the Quarter Program recognizes division employees who display a high level of commitment to CCSOs vision, mission, and values,” said sheriff’s office Spokeswoman Shalane Lowes. “The individuals nominated model behaviors such as a positive, professional attitude, respectful of policies and procedures, excellent job performance, helpful to co-workers, exhibits good communication and people skills, and a record of good attendance.”

Colleton County Sheriff Buddy Hill said those chosen to be recognized during this quarter have “worked hard” and are “deserving.”

“This is a natural result of your outstanding efforts, which were duly recognized,” he said. “The Colleton Sheriff’s Office is fortunate to have members like you on our team. I am so proud of all of you and wish you even more success in the future. Together we are making a difference; keep up the great work.”
