“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing to help others?” – Martin Luther King Jr.

In His Name-Colleton is hosting a food drive during the month of February for an opportunity to reach the homeless in Colleton. Items needed are canned meat, fruit cups, peanut butter cups, crackers, soups/stews, breakfast items, protein snacks, boxed milk/juice, and bottled water. Pull tab tops are best since some people may not have access to a can opener.

The goal is to make 100 blessing bags filled with food, hygiene products, and socks. Other items needed to help with this project are small cooler bags, cinch bags, or totes and two-gallon Ziploc bags. You may also include words of encouragement to go into each blessing bag. Please consider cleaning out your pantry or adding a few items to your grocery pick up order. To donate please contact Amanda Herndon at 843-599-0453 or 843-217-5661 or email ihncolleton@gmail.com
