Anyone interested in teaching at a local school can now apply for a job, virtually.
The Colleton County School District is hosting its annual job fair for certified teachers on Wednesday, March 3 and on Monday, March 8. The virtual events are meant to gain attention from prospective certified teachers from across the state.
There are currently 10 vacancies for certified teachers within the Colleton County School District.
Anyone interested in applying can register and submit an online application at www.applitrack.com/colletonsd/onlineapp. All candidates must be certified to teach by August 1, 2021.
“Once you are registered, you will be sent an email invite that includes your “Google Meet” link and designated meeting time. This fair will provide you the opportunity to learn more about our district, meet with our school leaders in your certification area and participate in an informal interview,” said Sean Gruber, spokesman for the Colleton County School District.
The deadline to register is Friday, February 26, 2021.
