USC Salkehatchie men’s basketball earned a 101-69 win over East Georgia State College in the first home scrimmage of the season held Saturday in Walterboro.

Leading scorer was DJ Sinkler with 17 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Cincere Scott had 13 points, 4 steals and 3 assists and Jordan Guthrie had 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

“With the official season not kicking off until January 20, these scrimmages provide us a great opportunity to play outside competition and build team chemistry on a team that is completely rebuilt,” said Coach Glen Mayo.
