Mrs. Ruby Warren Harriott, age 74, of Winchester Road, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 13, 2020, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Quillie Joe Harriott, Sr., to whom she was married for 48 years.
Born April 20, 1945 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Charles English Warren and Hattie Mae Long Warren. She was a member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church. She retired from Walmart in Walterboro, a job she truly enjoyed and loved the friends she acquired over the years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Mrs. Ruby loved her family and centered her life around those she loved.
Surviving are: one son, Quillie Joe Harriott, Jr. and his wife Terry of Ruffin; a daughter, Sarah Harriott Bowyer and her husband Ricky of Walterboro; and brother, Michael Warren of Walterboro. There are two grandchildren, Rebecca Jane Clark and Veronica Lynn Bowyer (Jacob); and three great grandchildren, Abel, Hazel, and Liam that also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Monday afternoon, March 16, 2020 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Sandy Dam United Methodist Churchyard, 3422 Charleston Highway, Walterboro.
