The Rice Festival Dog Show was held Saturday at the Colleton Museum & Farmers Market in Walterboro. The dog show is a crowd favorite and is a part of the annual Rice Festival.
Sponsored by Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, participants could spot furry friends were everywhere, dressed in their finest and ready to perform for the audience. Some of the four-legged attendees were just there to socialize and see one of their own in the show. Dog parents enjoyed seeing the show and watching handlers try to coax stubborn canines into participating.
It was fun for all and some winners were awarded ribbons for being the best of the rest.
