The Colleton County Rice Festival wrapped up a very successful week of activities with an amazing fireworks show Saturday night. The festival hosted numerous concerts, including Cody Webb, The East Coast Party Band, and the East Coast Dueling Piano Show. Additional activities for the 50th Anniversary included a Movie on the Lawn and a Rice Cookoff. Friday and Saturday were packed full of activities, including a Food Court, Vendors, and the Carnival that delighted kids of all ages. The Dock Dogs entertained with their dog jumping competition, B-Rad the Kids Magician, and musicians Thomas McMillan and Rodney Creel kept the crowds entertained on the main stage. The Rice Festival Parade delighted festival goers along Jefferies Blvd, and the Corn Hole Tournament was a great opportunity for patrons to try their skills. This year's festival was well attended and set the stage for another fifty years of the Colleton County Rice Festival.
