Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Cottageville Library

Posted

On October 26th the Cottageville Library had a pumpkin decorating contest!  Patrons were asked to paint, carve, or decorate a pumpkin in any way they liked.  Young and old alike brought in their decorated pumpkins.  All were fun to see and many were incredibly unique!  The winning pumpkin was a unique green witch with the pumpkin stem for a nose and it was created by Alivia Worden! We had cat pumpkins, intricately carved pumpkins, scary pumpkins, and even a pumpkin bedecked and bejeweled with blue hair and beads.  This event at the Cottageville Library was suggested by a patron a couple of years ago and has been a fun event to look forward to each Halloween since.
