A residential structure on Pulis Road was heavily damaged by fire on Saturday afternoon, May 17th. A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke coming from the building. Colleton County Fire-Rescue arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the small single story wood frame structure. Firefighters entered the building and quickly extinguishing the fire that caused extensive damage but resulted in no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
