Mrs. Margaret Nettles Prince, 72, of Walterboro, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, August 31, 2024, at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Mr. Coy Lee Prince, Jr. Born June 9, 1952, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Adam Lawrence Nettles and the late Gracie Elise Linder Nettles. She was a devoted sales representative for forty years with Avon. She was a member of Community Baptist Church near Lodge. She was very talented at crocheting and will always be remembered for her love of gardening. She was a longtime Sunday School teacher and was also a teacher at Faith Baptist Academy for many years. Surviving are: a son, Lawrence Edward Prince of Walterboro; five brothers, Allen Nettles, T.L. Nettles, Terry Nettles, Scott Nettles, Jeff Nettles; and a sister, Gail Nix; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clifton Lee Prince and Coy Lee Prince, III; and two brothers, Daniel and Larry Nettles. Funeral services were conducted at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, September 7, 2024, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
