Saturday September 16 was the 3rd Annual Pound out Childhood Cancer event to support CouragousKidz. Courageous Kidz is an amazing organization out of Charleston, SC that helps hundreds of “kidz” all over the country.
There were over 25 Pound Pros throughout the country to support the event at the Colleton County Recreations Center along with more than 30 people throughout the Lowcountry, South Carolina and Georgia. There were numerous families there with children who are survivors of cancer. This year’s event raised $7,070 for CouragousKidz!
Work has already begun on next year’s event, but donations can be made anytime through the Courageous Kidz website www.courageouskidz.org.
