At approximately 9:30 AM, the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call at approximately 9:30am on March 30th. A passerby reporting a man lying in a yard on Quail Drive, covered in blood. Colleton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Colleton County Fire-Rescue personnel responded to the scene. They located the victim and confirmed he was deceased. The exact manner of death remains undetermined, however the case is being treated as a homicide. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is leading the investigation. A person of interest has been identified and located.
