PRESS RELEASE. The Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter (FoCCAS) held its 11th Annual Paws Fundraiser on Saturday, March 5th, at The South Forty in Round O, SC. Due to the pandemic, the event was again structured with take-out food provided by Jimmy Fitts and auctions and raffles held virtually. FoCCAS President, Jeannette Neal, said in a written statement, “Paws 2022 generated more than $38,000 for the animals of Colleton! This is our most successful Paws in the history of FoCCAS! We are honored by your generosity! Thank you to all event sponsors, auction item donors, auction and raffle winners, ticket purchasers, volunteers, and all that participated in any way!”

FoCCUS members would like to thank The South Forty (Tammy Varn, Lynn Beach, and Jim Driggers) for hosting; Mr. Jimmy Fitts and team for the delicious food; Sparkles, Event Decor & Design for linens; Heather Lynne Designs for auction setup and the shelter staff, ACOs, volunteers, veterinarians, transporters, adopters, and rescue partners that continue the lifesaving work for the animals!
