July’s meeting of the P.E.P club featured a program by Ann Drawdy. The program had the members doing acrylic painting. The theme for the event was July 4th and each member was given a slat with a beach scene on one side and the P.E.P club members were encouraged to paint what they chose on the other side. Paintings were created with images ranging from exploding fireworks, flags, welcome signs, to paint splatters. A good time was had by all, and everyone had a souvenir to take home. Larry Strickland will be playing his guitar on August 29th at noon.

The P.E.P Club is a senior club for anyone over 50 and meets the last Tuesday of the month at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area. Lunch is served, a program is presented, door prizes are given, and the members play Bingo. The first visit is free. For more information call club president Norma Weeks at 843-538-8950.
