The Colleton County High School Band of Blue Winter Percussion had an outstanding performance at the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association Winter Percussion Championships Saturday, April 5th at Dorman High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Band of Blue Winter Percussion was awarded the SILVER MEDAL with a score of 79.925. Catawba Ridge High School won the GOLD MEDAL with Fort Mill, Chapin, Fountain Inn, and Union County rounding out the top 6. Congratulations to Mr. Clay Blackwood and the Band of Blue staff. Hard work pays off! The Band of Blue also wanted to thank the seniors for their dedication to the band program.
