A number of concerts of have entertained residents over the past week. The Wannabeatles brought their tribute show to the Colleton Civic Center on Friday, November 1. The grammy winning performers played beatles and music from other artist of the era to an appreciative audience. Gold City Gospel displayed their talents to attendees at North Walterboro Baptist to continue the churches free gospel concert series. The group, based in Alabama, has toured for almost 45 years and has numerous awards and hit songs to their credit. The uplifting concert was well attended. The Elks Club hosted Taylor Michaels and his Neil Diamond Tribute on Thursday November 7th. The show featured all of Diamond’s notable hits and a few more obscure offerings and a little trivia as well. Monday, Nov. 11th brought the rescheduled Duo Beaux Arts concert to the Colleton Civic Center. Pianists Catherine Lan and Tao Lin brought their talents to the Civic Center for an evening of piano classics.
