Michael M. Miller

Michael M. Miller, son of the late Aubrey Patrick Miller and Elizabeth Murray “Sis” Miller, passed away at his home in Walterboro Tuesday morning, November 30, 2021.  He was 76.

Michael was born in Aiken June 25, 1945, and after graduating from high school, and later the University of South Carolina, was drafted into the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam War.  Michael worked as an architectural draftsman and retired after many years of dedicated service from Byers Incorporated. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, enjoyed music, and was a talented artist.  

He is survived by his nephews Albert Clark Allen and Patrick Murray Allen, and by his cousins William Linder and Kathleen Padgett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Judith W. Allen.  

Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 at Live Oak Cemetery in Walterboro.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
