Position: Distance runner, 800-Meter, 1-Mile , 2-Mile and 4x8 relay team

GPA: 4.98
Future aspirations? I will be attending the College of Charleston in the fall.
Intended field of study? Psychology and forensics
Career Interest? Forensic profiler
Academic Honors: Beta Club, National Honor Society, Top 10% of the Class of 2020, Academic Award (cross-country), Academic Award (Track and Field 2017, 2018).
Athletic Honors: Two-time All-Region (cross-country), Varsity Letterman (tennis); 2018 SCHSL State Track Qualifier (running), Top Cross-Country Runner (2018), Best Middle Distance Runner (2016, 2017), Best Girls Track Runner (2017), Sportsmanship Award (2015, 2017).
At what age did you begin running? I began running at 12 years old in the Colleton County Rice Run.

What one word describes you? Tenacious.
Who was your favorite teacher and why? Mrs. Brawley is my favorite teacher. I had her in 9th grade and she always came to my races and events and was always there for me, in and out of the classroom.
How has athletics made you a better student? It definitely helps you stay organized and focused, as well as keeping up with your priorities!
Fondest memory in your athletic career? Running my best 5K time ever at the Lake Murray Invitational with my twin sister, Abigail.
If your high school athletic career were a movie, what one song would be on the soundtrack? There She Goes by the La’s.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? “Suck it up and win.” – Dr. Drew Calcutt
If you could ask our President one question, what would it be? When will the quarantine be over?
Sports hero? Steve Prefontaine
Favorite thing about self-distancing during COVID-19? Online shopping, family time and watching Gossip Girl.
Top-5 must haves while self-distancing? Dunkin’ coffee, Skinny Pop, running shoes, music, and Criminal Minds.
It is Senior Night. Ready, set, go. I am so thankful for all my coaches on and off the field including Courtney Singleton, Mylinda O’Quinn, Kris Howell, Courtney Bowers and Coach Pierce. I am so happy to have had six years of running and representing this school. I have met so many wonderful runners and competitors who have turned into life-long friends.
