At what age did you begin playing baseball? I began playing baseball when I was four years old.
What one word describes you? Silly.
Who was your favorite teacher and why? I’d have to say Mrs. Campbell because of all the great memories I have made in her class. She comes off as a very strict teacher, but she still likes to make class fun.
How has athletics made you a better student? I would say participating in athletics has made me a better student by furthering my bond with my classmates. I felt like our baseball team was my family and that I would not trade that for the world.
Fondest memory in your athletic career? My proudest moment would have to be being the closing pitcher against Williamsburg Academy to take us to state playoffs last season.
If your high school athletic career were a movie, what one song would be on the soundtrack? Stayin’ Alive by the Bee Gees.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? “Life is tough, so wear a helmet.” – Coach Chase.
Favorite thing about self-distancing during COVID-19? Nothing! It has been terrible!
Top-5 must haves while self-distancing? Food, drinks, phone, my truck and my dog.
It is Senior Night. Ready, set, go. I would not have wanted to play baseball with any other people than the people you see before me. I will never forget the memories I have made on and off this field with my teammates. I am proud to be a part of this family and I am proud to be a War Hawk!
