Two adult males were injured in a single vehicle, high speed accident on McDanieltown Road at the intersection of Liza Ln Wednesday evening February 26th. The north bound pickup truck lost control, crossed into the south bound lane where it collided with a guardrail, hit a culvert, and overturned several times before colliding upside down with a tree. Colleton County Fire-Rescue units arrived to find the vehicle on its roof. Bystanders assisted the injured men until Firefighter-Paramedics arrived and treated them at the scene. One victim was transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The other received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Colleton Medical Center. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
