Mary Crosby Rogers, widow of Gerald Howard Rogers, peacefully entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 6, 2021. She was 92 years old.
She was born on December 17, 1928 to Lawrence Eugene and Estelle Brant Crosby in Colleton County. She was a graduate of Lodge High School, where she excelled in girls' basketball. Mary was employed by the General Electric Company in Irmo for 25 years.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughters, Pamela R. Catoe, Beth R. French (Gary), and Sheila R. Fulmer (Mac); grandsons, Marshall French (Leah), Elliott French (Katie), Rane Fulmer (Kim) and granddaughter, Anna Fulmer Smith (Andrew). She was blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Maddison, Zane, Catoe, Carolina, Riley, Cullen, Jackson and Ella Kate.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Catoe Drawdy; one sister, Pearle Bell; four brothers, Herbert, Cleveland, Clyde and Wendell Crosby. Each of her brothers served in World War II.
Visitation will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4238 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church where Mary has been a member since 1954.
