Mrs. Mary Agnes Brabham Moody, “Mimi,” age 89, entered eternal rest on Wednesday afternoon, April 14, 2021, at Summerville Medical Center.She was born May 3, 1931, in Allendale County, a daughter of the late Lightsey Milledge and Agnes Geneva Kinard Brabham. She graduated Salutatorian in 1949 from Allendale/Fairfax Highschool before she married the late Fletcher Heyward Moody Jr on August 25, 1950.

Mary Agnes was an avid cross-stitcher and enjoyed arranging flowers for her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by a dear friend and neighbor, Elizabeth Aston Ray Hetrick.

Mary Agnes is survived by two sons, Fletcher Heyward Moody III and the mother of his children, Nancie Thompson Moody of Port Orange, FL and Darrell Milledge Moody and his wife Julie Robinson Moody of Walterboro; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Tami Moody Butler, her husband Brent Butler, and their daughter Hannah Butler of Sanford, FL, Christopher Jared (CJ) Moody and his wife Keiu Moody of Haleiwa, HA,  Kyle Milledge Moody, his wife Aston Hetrick Moody and their two children, John Milledge Moody & Mary Elizabeth Moody of Irmo, SC and Lauren Moody Stanfill, her husband Jonathan Stanfill and their son Jon Henry Stanfill of Canadys, SC. Also surviving is her brother Lightsey Milledge Brabham Jr. and wife Jo Ann Hurtt Moody of Fairfax, SC.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
