Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics responded to an accident on Maple Ridge Road Saturday, February 1st. The Single Vehicle accident injured an adult male when the Nissan Rogue left the roadway, struck several trees and rolled over on its side. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and received non-liftheatening injuries. Firefighter-Paramedics stabilized the car and then removed the car’s windshield to extricate the driver. He was treated at the scene, then transported to Colleton Medical Center for further treatment. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
