An adult male was shot in both legs on Brittlebank Road Saturday morning May 24th. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. C.A.R.E. Flight was returning to Walterboro from another response and met Fire-Rescue at the National Guard Armory, where they landed in the parking lot. The patient was transferred to the Flightcrew, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting.
