Local Zeta Chapter Inducts Officers

PRESS RELEASE. Katrina Reeves was recently inducted as president of Zeta chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society of Key Women Educators. She will serve the local chapter for a two-year term. Allyson Griffin was inducted as vice president.

Martha Johnson, outgoing president, and Sandy Stearns, membership chair, conducted the installation ceremony.

Zeta, the Colleton chapter of the Society, has 35 members of active and retired educators. The chapter is affiliated with the South Carolina State Organization of Delta Kappa Gamma International, which has chapters in 17 countries.

Founded in 1929, the Society provides scholarships to teachers and gives monetary support to educational projects throughout the world.
