Lew Wallace Addison, age 91, of Lilburn, GA., passed away Saturday morning, June 13, 2020.

Lew was born on February 24, 1929 in Cottageville, SC. to John O. and Mabel Rhode Addison.  He was a United States Air Force veteran retiring from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Mechanical Superintendant and was a member of the Round Masonic Lodge #270.  He was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Cottageville, SC and Calvary Baptist Church in Lilburn.

A lifelong man of the earth, he was a Master Gardener sharing fruits and vegetables with all.  He loved hunting and especially fishing.  He was a farmer, a forester and family man who loved good music, good jokes, good books and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annelle Jones Addison, his brother, Carroll Addison and his sisters, Marion Adams, Alice Walters  and Ruth Gilliam.

Survived by his wife, Joan Garrick Addison of Lilburn, children, Frances Hughes (Billy), Wallace (Donna) Addison, Jeff (Cathy) Addison, Karole McLaughlin, Lynn Breedlove and Chris (Charlene) McLaughlin, grandchildren, Jason Addison, Scott Bruins, Rebecca Page, Justin Addison, Danny Howard, Lindsey Linder, Ian Price, Nikki Covington, Melissa Waddell, Henry McLaughlin and Liam McLaughlin, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, a memorial and burial service will be conducted at a later date.
