Lady Indians split decisions on the week in Region X play

The Salkehatchie Lady Indians split Region X decisions last week earning a 68-43 win over Louisburg College and close loss versus Wake Tech 95-92.

The Lady Indians are currently 11-8 overall and 7-5 in Region X.

In an on-the-road win over Louisburg College on Tuesday, January 25, Shatyra Moore scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Jasmine Norman had 17 points and 4 rebounds. Other scoring included Janise Shaw with 13 points, Omari Kirkland with nine points, Amarie Brown with eight points, and Lauryn Bell, who scored two points.

In at-home play against Wake Tech on Saturday, January 29th, Indian Kolia Adams scored 22 points and claimed 2 rebounds. Amari Hunter scored 21 points and Jasmine Norman added 20 points.

Other scoring included Antwanique Walley with 13 points, Kirkland with 10 points, Shaw with four points and Moore with two points.

USC Salkehatchie will be on the road this week, traveling to Guilford Tech on Tuesday, February 1 and Wake Tech on Saturday, February 5.
