Lady Indians fall short in Region X games

The Salkehatchie Lady Indians fell shy in close games in Region X over the last two weeks losing to Bryant and Stratton College (60-56), Southwest Virginia (80-72) and Wake Tech (81-63). The Lady Indians are now 11-9 overall and 7-6 in Region X competition.
They will host Johnston College Wednesday Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. and Lenoir College on Saturday Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. Both games will be played in Walterboro.
Colleton County High School senior standout, Omari Kirkland, verbally committed to the Lady Indians last week.

80-72 (loss) – January 15
Corley 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals; Harvin 14 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds.

Wake Tech
81-63 (loss) – January 18
Cole 15 points and 3 assists, Corley 13 points, Harvin 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, LeShore 11 points and 12 rebounds.
