Colleton Prep’s tennis team set to begin competition in AA State Championships.

The Colleton Prep Lady Hawk Tennis team finished second in SCISA Region IV-AA after recording an 8-6 overall finish on the season. Colleton Prep finished behind Hilton Head Prep (AAA Flex) and Hilton Head Christian. The Lady Hawks were slated to begin competition in the AA State Playoffs Tuesday Oct. 13 against Carolina Academy in Lake City.
The Lady Hawks sealed their playoff spot after defeating Bamberg Ehrhardt (8-1) and Beaufort Academy (7-0) last week and suffering an 8-1 loss to Hilton Head Prep.
