The Colleton Prep Lady Hawk varsity basketball team earned a 47-43 win over Region IV-AA Thomas Heyward Academy on Tuesday, February 1 on the road.
Hannah Strickland scored 14 points in the game and Anne Hatcher White added 10 points. Other scoring included Taylor Tomedolskey 9, Ava Murray 6, Lana Catterton 4, Kara Fargnoli 2, and Sidney Bailey 2. The Lady Hawks are currently 4-16 overall and 2-7 in conference play.
Against John Paul II on January 25 at home, Colleton Prep fell 55-18. Strickland led with 7 points. Tomedolskey, Bailey and White each added 3 points and Catterton recorded 2 points.
In a 59-15 loss versus Hilton Head Christian Friday January 28, the Lady Hawks were led by Strickland with 11 points. Tomedolskey and White each added 2 points.
Strickland led scoring with 6 points in the 53-25 loss to John Paul II Wednesday February 2. Sidney Bailey added 5 points. Other scoring included Tomedolskey 4, White 4, Murray 2, Fargnoli 2, and Catterton 2.
The Lady Hawks fell 76-45 to Beaufort Academy on Friday,February 4 on the road. Strickland led on the boards scoring 12 points. Bailey added 11 points and Tomedolskey recorded 10 points. Other scoring included White 6, Alyssa Groves 2, Laura Barnes 2, and Murray 2.
Colleton Prep was scheduled to host Hilton Head Prep on Friday, February 11 at home.
