The Colleton Prep varsity girls basketball team struggled on the road last week, dropping back-to-back region games against Hilton Head Christian (68-20) and Beaufort Academy (55-16). The Lady Hawks are currently 5-8 overall and 0-4 in Region I-AA competition.
Against Hilton Head Christian on Tuesday Jan. 14, Heather Davis led the Lady Hawks scoring 9 points. Rachel Wright chipped in 8 points and Taylor Tomedolskey had 2 points.
In the loss to Beaufort Academy, Rianna Bailey and Rachel Wright had 6 points each and Davis contributed 4 points.
Colleton Prep will have home court advantage this week as they have home games scheduled Tuesday Jan. 21 versus Thomas Heyward followed by Patrick Henry on Friday Jan. 24.
