Colleton County Fire-Rescue units responded to a structure fire on Estates Drive Tuesday, May 20th. The occupants called 911 to report the fire and safely exited the home. Colleton County Fire-Rescue arrived to find smoke coming from the residence. Firefighter-Paramedics entered the home and contained the fire to the kitchen and was able to save the residence. The remainder of the home suffered smoke damage. The fire started in the area of the stove.
