WALTERBORO:     Mrs. Becky Turner Kinard, wife of the late Theodore D. “Ted” Kinard, passed away at her home Thursday evening, March 13, 2025 at the age of 79.  Becky was born in Cabarrus, NC,  November 14, 1945, a daughter of the late Layton Roberts Turner and the late Sarah Rebeccah Payne Turner.  She formerly worked in the accounting departments at Craftsman Printing and Carrolton Graphics, before retiring after seventeen years of service with Le Creuset.  Becky was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she attended the Wil Goodwin Sunday School Class, and she was known for her love of history, and researching family genealogy.   She is survived by her step-daughters Alicia Kinard of Folly Beach, and Libbie K. Myers (Pat) of Bowman.  She leaves behind her brother-in-law   R.W. Williams, her niece Amy Hazlett, and her nephew Douglas Williams.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Turner Willliams.   In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time.   Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
