Law Enforcement Officers are investigating a shooting incident that injured a 14-year-old male juvenile on Sniders Hwy. behind Colleton Heights Apartments, Sunday morning July 6th. A reported domestic incident escalated with a person discharging a firearm. A round struck the child in the hand. He was treated at the scene for a non-life-threatening injury. Colleton County Fire-Rescue transported the patient to Colleton Hospital in Walterboro. This is the latest of a number of shooting incidents involving teenagers in Colleton County.
