Mrs. Julia T. “Jann” Godley, wife of Marshall C. Godley, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  She was 67. 

Jann was born in Philadelphia, PA August 11, 1953 a daughter of the late Thomas B. and Gloria Anne Kostic Tattersall.  She was employed for many years at ALCOA in Beaufort County, but was best known as a nail technician for over twenty years at Island Trends on Boundry Street in Beaufort.  She attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and was a devoted wife, daughter and sister.

In addition to her husband of thirty years, Jann is survived by her brother, Christian “Chris” Tattersall (Pam) of Suwanee, GA, and by her sister Leslie Madeleine Tattersall of Cedar Hills, MO.  She has a devoted nephew and two nieces:  Julie Cleland Shirley, Thomas William Tattersall, and Madison Anne Tattersall.  

In consideration of the current situation locally with the COVID pandemic, and with the health and safety of the community in mind, the family has decided to hold services privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FOCCAS, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, SC  29488.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
