The Colleton County Middle School Jr. Cougar Baseball team captured the Region VII Championship after compiling a 5-0 record in the season. After earning a 10-6 win over River Ridge in the quarterfinals, the Jr. Cougars advanced to face H.E. McCracken for the championship where they fell 13-10.

“We faced tremendous adversity throughout the season including game cancellations and the passing of assistant coach, Rodney Farmer, early in the season,” said head coach Dillion Noffsinger. “Despite the adversity, we went undefeated in the season and saw our season end after a loss to H.E. McCracken.”

“I am very happy and proud of the efforts and hard work of the players and coaches,” said Anthony Aiken, CCMS Athletic Director. “They made this year a success and represented CCSD with pride.”
