Charles Stuart Johnson of Beaufort, died September 11, 2024 at the Veteran’s Victory House. Charles was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 26, 1944, born to Clyde Albin Johnson and Alice Pallin Johnson. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. Serving active duty, he was stationed on Midway Island in the North Pacific Ocean and later in the Naval Reserve. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Johnson of Charleston, SC; Brother-in-laws, Cam(Pam) Patterson of Savannah, GA and Sam(Hilary) Patterson of Arley, AL; Sister-in -law, Becky(Sam) Tift of High Springs, FL; along with many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Douglas, GA. Arrangements By: The Brice W.
