Mr. John Bunnell Leonard, known to everyone as “Jack”, 74, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, August 28, 2021 at his residence.
Born April 12, 1947 in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late John Warner Leonard and Dorothy Bunnell Leonard. Mr. Leonard was a retired banker. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and for being an outstanding cook who made a fantastic meatloaf. He dearly loved his family.
Surviving are: his wife, Carole Jeanne Mason Leonard of Walterboro; daughters, Pamela Leonard Cox and Amy Leonard, both of Walterboro; grandchildren, Lillie Fillers, Emma Fillers and Jonathan Fillers, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Grayson, Mackenzie, and Brantley.
A memorial service will be held 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, September 8, 2021, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
