Jimmy Lindell Sexton 59, passed away on September 6, 2021.

  Jimmy was born to Frank and Joanne Bosscawen on March 29, 1962, in Oakdale, Louisiana, and raised in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. He came to Charleston, S.C. after Hurricane Hugo where he met his wife April Craven.

  Jimmy became a devout Christian and started his own construction business. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.

  Being artistic, Jimmy spent time playing his guitar and reading his Bible. He always wished to write Christian music.

  Surviving are: his wife April; daughters Dani (Gunter) Sexton, Jessie, Mickealla; son Joshua, all from Walterboro; daughters Heather Rodriguez of Pauls Valley Oklahoma; and Summer Dawn Dalton of Denton, Texas; brothers Jerry (Mary) Sexton of Jarman, Georgia; and Monty Sexton of Round O; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

  A Memorial Service will be held on November 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Cane Baptist church, 21324 Augusta Highway, Cottageville, S.C. Pastor Blake Anderson officiating. Arrangements by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Service.
