She leaves behind five grandchildren: Jamie Berry, Jim Sauter (Lauran), Nicholas Parker, Kristine Parker Richards (Joshua) and Holly Benton Cavenaugh (Bill).  She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren Lincoln and Kennedy Richards, a “chosen daughter” Wendy Hiott Clark (Joe) of Columbia and Margaret “Oochie” Maxcey, her lifelong friend.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staffs of Vistelan Healthcare and Regency-Southern Care Hospice, especially Latarsha and Carol, for the excellent care given to Mrs. Berry.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 in the Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church or to Regency-Southern Care Hospice.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
