Mrs. Janita Benton Beckett, affectionately known to everyone as “Nita” or “Rat”, 67, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Pruitt Healthcare. She was the widow of the late John “Sonny” Beckett.
Born April 24, 1954 in Walterboro, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee Benton and Marie Deery Crosby.
Funeral services were held 11 am, Friday, August 13, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Entombment followed at Glendale Memorial Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum.
