Mr. Eural Capers Huff, age 87, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. He was born on February 9, 1938, in Lodge, South Carolina, to the late Frank Huff and Lilly Mae Hiers Huff. Eural was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Geraldine Boodle Huff, and a proud father to Jackie Huff (Lisa), James Huff, and daughter-in-law Gloria Huff. He was predeceased by his daughter, Carey Lagay Huff. His legacy includes his cherished grandchildren: Hunter Huff (Morgan), Haley Banks (Dylan), Paige Fralix, and Morgan Owens, as well as Ashley, Mason and Brayden who were like grandchildren to him. His great-grandchildren are his greatest legacy, Gabriel Banks and Harper Huff. Eural was one of thirteen siblings and is survived by his brothers, Andrew Huff and Clyde Huff of Tennessee. Eural dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to National Linen, where he worked tirelessly as a maintenance supervisor. He took great pride in his work, and his commitment to excellence earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside him. Above all, Eural was a family man who loved spending time with those he held dear. He had a passion for catfishing and enjoyed the peaceful moments it provided by the water. His love for family, work ethic, and simple joys will be remembered by all who knew him. Eural will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness and love. A funeral service celebrating Eural’s life was held at 11 o’clock Friday morning, April 11, 2025, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
