Colleton County Fire-Rescue responded to a high-speed accident on I-95 near the 41-mile marker, Wednesday morning, March 5th. Crews treated and transported the adult male driver to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries. The southbound semi-truck left the roadway and entered the median where it struck several trees. The cab was torn from the frame and overturned. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
