Mrs. Eva Huff Hiers, 86, of Lodge, entered into eternal rest Tuesday evening, January 17, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Perry “Junior” Hiers.
Born June 17, 1936 in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Frank Huff and Lily Mae Hiers Huff. She enjoyed fishing but more than anything, loved her family and spending time with them. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are: her daughters, Letha Eddings and her husband Steve of Summerville and Sandra Gail Herndon and her husband Nathan of Lodge; brothers, Eural Huff of North Charleston, and Clyde Huff, Monroe Huff, and Andrew Huff, all of Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, January 21, 2023 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment followed in Carter’s Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, Lodge Highway, Lodge.
