Hendersonville Elementary School held its annual career day on Friday, November 15th. Students from Pre-K through 5th Grade saw presentations from local entities.
Elizabeth Varn, School Counselor at Hendersonville Elementary was one of the organizers of the event explains, “This is our second career day at Hendersonville Elementary School. We had 19 vendors today, everything from Nursing, The Press and Standard, the South Carolina, Forestry Commission, Colleton County Sheriff’s Dept, Fire-Rescue, USC-Salkehatchie, Koger’s Mortuary, and numerous other presenters. Students were able to ask questions about of each profession.”
Varn said, “I just want to thank the community for their support”. She also encourages business to sign up for next year.
